The ultimate affiliate marketing guide to top tier sales
Many affiliates choose to sell products that they earn minor commissions. By minor commissions, I mean $100 or less. This is why they need the ultimate affiliate marketing guide to top tier sales.
I get it…money is money!
And I don’t have a problem with selling lower priced products but you just cannot build the business of your dreams around them. It’s simple math!
I say that hoping I don’t get my calculations wrong.
If you want to earn $100,000 a year (and I’m assuming most people want to make even more than that) and the highest commission you can earn is $100, how many sales will you have to make per year to achieve that goal?
$100,000/$100 = 1,000 sales a year.
This strategy requires you to make on average 3 sales a day (1,000 sales/365 days in a year = 2.74 sales per day).
That is not impossible. If you can average 3 sales a day for the year you can make $100,000.
Now, just look at the difference when you increase your commission to $1,000 which is just the tip of the iceberg for top tier commissions.
$100,000/$1,000 = 100 sales a year.
This strategy requires you to make on average .27 (less than 1 sale a day) sales a day (100 sales/365 days in a year = .27 sales per day).
Which strategy seems like less work to you?
You may think that it is harder to make top tier or high dollar sales but it is not that difficult. You just have to make sure you offer a product that is worth the cost. As long as the value is there, people will buy.
Like I said before, with top tier products, $1,000 is just the beginning. When you start offering products that pay you even larger commissions, you have to make even less sales to achieve $100,000 a year.
What do you think of that strategy?
Can you see the benefit in offering top tier products? Work less…earn more!
Many affiliates get this wrong and miss out on the larger sales and the higher income. If you are an affiliate and you are already making 100 sales a year but not reaching anywhere close to $100,000 a year…it’s time to rethink your strategy.
If you are new to affiliate marketing, get started the right way with top tier products.
You can look at a different business…
Let’s take Apple for example. They offer some lower priced products (Apple TV, iPod Shuffle, Airport Express) but those are not the products you hear most about. They are not the main focus of Apple’s advertising.
What products do you hear more about?
The iPhone, iPad, and Macs. Apple just held a large event to announce the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and the Apple Watch. iPhones, iPads, and Macs: those are the products that generate the most revenue for Apple. Those are Apple’s top tier products and depending on the features you choose, you can pay anywhere from $299 to $2,000+ for these products. Then Apple also offers the Mac Pro which starts at $2,999. And most Apple customers are loyal and continue to buy new products like the upcoming Apple Watch or upgraded products like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
If this business model is good enough for Apple…is it good enough for your business?
